I have used the adhesive version of this for years, but recently got a full case for my laptop, so I transitioned to the non-adhesive one instead. It does all the things I love about the first one, 2 adjustable heights, allows ventilation, and is very portable. The angle makes typing on the laptop a better experience. Would recommend to anyone looking for an ultra portable laptop stand.
Switching to this version after getting a full case was seamless—it grips my laptop just as firmly without any adhesive. The stability is rock-solid even when I’m typing aggressively, and the airflow underneath feels noticeably better than my old setup.
The fold-flat design is a lifesaver for my backpack, and unlike the adhesive version, it doesn’t mess with my new protective case. Setup took ten seconds and it’s rock-solid at my desk. Exactly the upgrade I needed.
Swapped to this after getting a full case, and it holds my laptop just as steady as the old adhesive version. The fact that it works without sticking means I can easily move it around my desk whenever I need.
